I'm glad I stumbled upon this thread....Hi Erin,
I'm glad I stumbled upon this thread. I am trying to learn how to heal in a dream as well. I have rheumatoid Arthritis which at times is rather painful. I have asked my dream to guide me as well, with unusual results. In one instance the dream guided me to Pennsylvania to a building full of witches that were having a meeting held by a wise elderly witch. In another dream where I asked for a source of power in order to learn how to heal I ended up in a pharmacy where the pharmacist gave me a glass bowl filled with hot lava. I will keep trying but am not able to induce LDs at will yet. they appear too sporadic. :(LucidDreamerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17991174733998515456noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3347061404145002598.post-54323212459787596222010-01-24T16:09:02.005-08:002010-01-24T16:09:02.005-08:00Thank you for your well wishes, Robert. :)
Ryan,...Thank you for your well wishes, Robert. :)

Ryan, I had in mind the image of a Western doctor when I asked for healing assistance. I don't know why it didn't occur to me to ask for another sort of healer. I find it's often difficult to think as precisely in the dreamworld, unless I've formulated a plan first in the waking world. And, I guess Western Medicine runs deep enough in my cultural programming (even as one professionally involved in alternative healing arts) to show up in my lucid dreamscape.Erin Langleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05966175185600833672noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3347061404145002598.post-51592041328948878752009-12-10T09:31:34.265-08:002009-12-10T09:31:34.265-08:00Erin,

If it were my dream, I'd be bummed he was so Establishment. anyhow, I've found in my lucid dreaming travels that accepting who shows up is a difficult practice. We have So many judgements and fears and attitudes, and of course because self/other is somwhat enmeshed in the dream, these unnoticed attitudes can guide the behavior of the Other.
and the other layer, of course is that yer ancestral line (County Meath) probably includes blued eyed shaman, don't it? that's another projection because I have a similar heritage.Ryanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01900859835647235242noreply@blogger.com
